The Bookcycle
Concept-driven 3D design exploring reading, nostalgia, and community access
Overview
Designed Bookcycle, a mobile library concept created to encourage children’s reading through nostalgia, accessibility, and community engagement. The project was developed in response to a design brief focused on using a bicycle to communicate a message.
Scope
3D design · Concept development · Art direction · Physical build · Visual storytelling
Approach
I developed the concept around the emotional value of physical books and the memory of childhood reading. To bring the idea to life, I constructed custom bicycle shelving to hold donated books, then styled and photographed the final piece to present it as a community-centered mobile library.
Outcome
Created a concept-driven 3D design piece that was showcased at the Art Directors Club and demonstrated my ability to connect storytelling, physical design, and visual presentation.
